Effaclar Serum

• LHA (Lipo-Hydroxy Acid) — a gentler, lipid-soluble form of salicylic acid that works gradually to exfoliate the skin's surface and help unclog pores over time, with a lower irritation profile than standard BHAs.

• Salicylic Acid — complements the LHA with additional pore-clearing exfoliation, helping to reduce the visible appearance of blemishes and prevent the build-up that contributes to congestion.

• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) — helps to calm visible redness associated with blemishes and may help to minimise the appearance of enlarged pores with consistent daily use.

• La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water — forms the base of the formula, providing soothing properties that support skin tolerance of the exfoliating actives on sensitive, blemish-prone skin.

• Lightweight Serum Texture — absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue; suitable for layering under moisturiser and SPF as part of a morning anti-blemish routine.

• Fragrance-Free and Tested on Acne-Prone Skin — free of fragrance; developed and tested specifically for sensitive, acne-prone skin. Always follow with broad-spectrum SPF in the morning.

Morning Application:

Apply a small amount to face and neck every morning after cleansing. Smooth gently over the skin and allow to fully absorb. Follow with moisturiser and broad-spectrum SPF.

Starting Out:

If new to LHA or salicylic acid, begin with every other day and increase gradually as skin adjusts.

Precautions:

For external use only. Avoid the eye area. Always use broad-spectrum SPF in the morning when using this product. Discontinue use if dryness, peeling or irritation develops. Not recommended during pregnancy without medical guidance. Keep out of reach of children.
